  • Bringing out children from the street and match them up with a family.
  • Provide therapy to the children and their families in a counseling center setting.
  • Collect clothing and distribute them to the families.
  • Provide food and medicine to the vulnerable
  • Refer children to other service providers including social services and schools.
  • Therapy for abuse and other types of trauma.

REALIZATIONS

On August 15th 2005 CFR inaugurated its activities in RDC with a ceremony where different authorities, UN officials and staff of Internationsal Organizations were invited.  It was in the venue of Fatima, in KinshasaGombe.

CFR fixed itself as first mission to give schooling to 50 orphans from different churches and local NGOs.  The assistance consisted in offering school items, paying school fees:

  • 1 school bag
  • 15 notebooks
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 pack of color pens
  • 1 50cm slat
  • School uniform clothes
    (blue and white)
  • Fees for sewing the uniform clothes

CFR has put into place a team to go around different schools in order to pay school fees for the orphans before the beginning of school term.

CFR will also make a follow up during all the school terms to encourage the evolution of these orphans.

PROJECTS

  • Micro credits to widows and women heads of families.
  • Building of schools in disadvanaged areas.
  • Opening of treatment centers for any kind of traumatisms for victims sexual violence, the demobilized adjults and children, beaten women, mistreated children.
  • Construction of a center to welcome disadvantaged children.
  • Distribution of food and non food items to unprovided families
  • Food for work: farms of cassava, corn, vegetables, rice...
  • Construction of hospitals.
  • Support to give schooling to orphans and other children in distress.
  • FIght HIV/AIDS, malaria, polio, tuberculosis and other endemic diseases.
